Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-07-17

Draft — pending legal review. This is a template-based draft prepared for the CareerVector US launch. It is not final or legally binding and must be reviewed and approved by a qualified attorney (US / CCPA) before publication. Nothing here is legal advice.

1. Acceptance

By using CareerVector you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CareerVector operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

2. What CareerVector is

CareerVector is a career-optimisation tool. It shows indicative US compensation ranges, possible career routes, and evidence-based readiness signals to help you make your own decisions. It is information and tooling — not a recruiter, employer, or agent, and not career, legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice.

3. No guarantees

Every figure (salary, OTE, equity, timelines, readiness, market value) is indicative and sourced, and may be estimated or out of date. CareerVector does not guarantee any promotion, offer, pay level, or outcome. Outcomes depend on employers, markets, and factors outside our control.

4. Your account & acceptable use

You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you enter. Don't misuse the service — no scraping, reverse engineering, unlawful use, or attempts to break access controls or others' privacy.

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed in USD via our payment processor. Fees, trials, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout. You can cancel future renewals at any time; access continues through the period already paid for.

6. Third-party data & links

Job listings are provided by Adzuna and link out to third-party sites under their terms. Compensation and market data derive from public and market sources credited on our Attributions page. We don't control third-party content.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerVector is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on any figure it presents.

8. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here. Questions: support@careervector.co.

We use privacy-friendly analytics (and session replay, with inputs masked) to improve CareerVector. Essential features work either way. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
